I created this blog so that we can more easily share discoveries about our family’s past. It can be hard to absorb the many details that are now at our fingertips online—to understand these people’s relationships to us and the contexts of their lives. A blog lets us break it down into digestible bits, and keep it organized along the way. And we can all contribute and comment, writing the story of our ancestors—the story of our country—from the vantage point of how those threads coalesced in our particular clan.
